Hello, my name is Fu Hangkang, and I am majoring in Computer Science and Technology. In my free time, I enjoy photography and music, which help me stay creative and balanced. I have a strong ability to learn quickly, allowing me to adopt and apply new technologies effectively while exploring innovative fields.

During the summer, I participated in Harvard University’s CS50 course, which marked the beginning of my journey into computer science. CS50 taught me fundamental concepts such as computational thinking, algorithms, data structures, and various programming languages including C, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Through diverse problem sets inspired by the arts, humanities, social sciences, etc. I developed a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of programming.

I am passionate about emerging technologies, especially AI tools. I have independently deployed servers, built personal websites, and deployed local models to clone voice tones. Additionally, I have utilized Stable Diffusion’s ControlNet for personalized image generation. Recently, I worked with C++ and SQL, using Git to collaborate with others in developing a dormitory management system. This project not only enhanced my technical skills but also reinforced my ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Furthermore, I participated in our school’s CTF (Capture The Flag) competition and won first prize. This experience honed my problem-solving skills, deepened my understanding of cybersecurity, and taught me the importance of strategic thinking under pressure.

I possess strong communication and teamwork abilities, enabling me to understand others’ needs, articulate my ideas clearly, and collaborate effectively to solve problems. I believe that Computer Science and Engineering, particularly AI, will revolutionize sectors such as education, healthcare, and transportation, significantly impacting our daily lives.

I am eager to join the elite program to learn from outstanding peers and mentors, refine my skills through challenging projects, and contribute my value to the field. I look forward to the opportunity to grow and make meaningful advancements in computer science and AI.
